End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By Spring 2019, all students will demonstrate their POG Communicator Attributes/Skills as measured by 70% of students scoring 12 of higher on the included POG Communicator Student Self-Assessment Rubric.

Strategy 1

Students will be exposed to literacy and literacy strategies in all subject areas to support them in improving their communication skills.

Strategy 2

Each discipline will focus on specific attributes/skills within the Communicator rubric.

Strategy 3

Students will continue to receive support in literacy, which will improve their skills in communication in all content areas.

Strategy 4

Students will develop communication skills through Project Based Learning opportunities.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By Spring of 2019, the unadjusted pass rate for students with disabilities on the Math SOL test will increase from 54% to 56% by June, 2019.

Strategy 1

The math department will implement Math 180 in Learning Seminars with specific students based on data.

Strategy 2

Guided Math Workshop will be implemented.

Strategy 3

Implementation of an evidence based program for students with disabilities in self-contained classrooms.

Implementation of Power Math Class

By Spring of 2019, the unadjusted pass rate for students with disabilities on the Reading SOL test will increase from 53% to 55% by June, 2019.
